Who We Are

Pridemark Safaris Ltd is a registered and licensed destination management company based in Uganda. We offer safaris in both Uganda and Rwanda, with exciting trips to see gorillas, chimpanzees, golden monkeys, the Big 5 animals, local cultures, and boat rides. Our office is in Kabale, along the Kabale-Kisoro road. This spot makes us perfect for primate adventures in Bwindi National Park, where you can trek gorillas up close. PrideMark Safaris, Uganda, is proud to share our work cooperation with AICO ODV, an Italian non-profit organization operating in Uganda with a mission rooted in supporting disadvantaged children and advancing humanitarian and community development projects across the region. Our partnership reflects a shared belief that solidarity and practical assistance can create real, lasting change.

Shared Mission: People First

Through AICO ODV’s humanitarian work, and PrideMark Safaris’ local presence and community connections, our collaboration has helped strengthen initiatives that respond directly to urgent needs faced by vulnerable groups. Together, we support efforts aimed at improving the well-being of children and contributing to community resilience.

Support Near Ndorwa Prison — Kabale District

One of the key areas where we have worked together is the Ndorwa Prisons Women Section in Kabale District. The initiatives in this region are designed to provide humanitarian support while also promoting opportunities for local development. By combining AICO ODV’s international commitment with local coordination and on-the-ground engagement, we help ensure assistance reaches where it is most needed.

These efforts include supporting disadvantaged children and strengthening community-based support mechanisms around affected families and individuals in the area.

Local Development, Volunteering, and International Solidarity

Our cooperation goes beyond single activities. It also supports a broader model of engagement that includes:

The Kitabu Project to strengthen essential community services through support for an underground water system. This work focuses on establishing reliable water storage and improving water provision for the community, ensuring safer and more consistent access to water for daily use.

In addition, the partnership includes assistance toward key local institutions supported by the project, including a Community Hospital and Kitabu Primary School. By contributing to both water infrastructure and community facilities, PrideMark Safaris and AICO – ODV are helping to enhance health outcomes, support learning continuity, and improve overall quality of life for residents in Kitabu.

Local development efforts that contribute to sustainable progress in communities. Volunteering and community support, coordinated with sensitivity to local realities. International solidarity, where AICO ODV’s Italian network collaborates with regional stakeholders to generate meaningful impact.
