Transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi
Your adventure begins in Kampala or Entebbe and embark on a scenic 9–10 hour drive southwest toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. En route, rolling tea plantations, terraced hillsides, and the vast expanse of Lake Mburo paint a stunning picture of Uganda’s countryside. Arrive at your forest lodge by evening, enjoy a welcome dinner, and rest ahead of tomorrow’s big trek.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
This is the day you’ve been waiting for. After an early breakfast, you receive a pre-trek briefing at the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters. Armed with walking sticks and accompanied by expert rangers and trackers, you penetrate the dense forest undergrowth. The trek can last 2–8 hours depending on gorilla movement. When you finally encounter a gorilla family — silverbacks, mothers, and playful juveniles — you’re granted a magical one-hour visit. Emotions run high; cameras click; hearts race.

Return to Entebbe or Kampala
