PrideMark Safaris welcomes you. By booking a safari, tour or event with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herewith. Please make sure you read them carefully before making a reservation with us.
All bookings must be made in writing via email or through our official website. To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total safari cost is required at the time of the booking. The remaining 50% down payment must be paid at least 14 days (2 weeks) before the safari start date. Bookings made within 14 days of departure must be paid in full time at the time of confirmation. Confirmation will be sent once payment is received, and any additional details required for your trip.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, or other approved methods communicated by PrideMark Safaris.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing and will take effect upon receipt by PrideMark Safaris. The following charges apply;
More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus a 10% administrative cost.
59 โ 30 days before departure: 50% of the safari cost will be forfeited.
29 โ 15 days before departure: 75% of the safari cost will be forfeited
Less than 14 days before departure: 100% of the safari cost will be forfeited
No refunds will be made for any unused services or portions of the safari once the trip has commenced.
In special circumstances such as illness or emergencies, PrideMark Safaris will assist clients to reschedule, subject to supplier terms and conditions.
PrideMark reserves the right to modify itineraries, routes, accommodation, or activities due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, park regulations, security concerns, or flight schedule changes).
Any alterations will be communicated as early as possible, and equivalent alternatives will be offered without compromising the overall quality of the safari experience.
All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before arrival. Insurance should cover what is below;
Medical expenses
Emergency evacuation
Trip cancellation and delays
Personal accident coverage
Loss or theft of personal belongings
PrideMark Safaris is not responsible for any costs resulting from clients traveling without adequate insurance coverage.
Clients are expected to follow park rules, local laws, and safety guidelines as instructed by guides and authorities.
Clients must ensure that they are physically fit for the activities included in the safari (e.g., gorilla, chimpanzee, Rhino and Golden Monkey trekking plus Mountain hiking)
PrideMark Safaris will not be responsible for;
Accidents or illness caused by client negligence.
Loss of personal property during the safari.
Missed activities due to late arrivals or failure to follow instructions.
Children under 15 years are not permitted to participate in gorilla trekking (as per Uganda and Rwanda Park regulations)
For other activities, age restrictions may apply, and parents/guardians are required to supervise their children at all times.
Child discounts may be available on certain lodges, park fees, or safari packages, depending on supplier policies.
PrideMark Safaris acts as an agent between clients and third-party service providers such as lodges, transport companies, and activity operators.
While we carefully select partners, we cannot be held liable for:
Delays, cancellations, or service interruptions beyond our control
Natural events (e.g., floods, droughts, earthquakes, epidemics)
Wildlife encounters and inherent risks associated with safaris in remote areas.
Clients acknowledge that safari travel involves inherent risks and agree to participate at their own responsibility.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
Any disputes or claims shall be first be resolved amicably, and if necessary, through Ugandan Courts of Law.
By confirming a booking with PrideMark Safaris you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
